Values Clarification

Values are the beliefs that define what is the most important to you. Many of us think that we know what we value but never take the time to really clarify what those specific values are. The benefit in doing a values clarification is that is create definable “lighthouses” that you can use to move towards when you find yourself in a difficult experience. Furthermore, when you find yourself in a state of depression it can often be due to ignoring your vales or directly going against one or more of them. I invite you to revisit this values clarification regularly and to reflect upon if your actions are consistent with what you value.

*this can also be done as a collective family unit, group of coworkers, a couple or even roommates.
